Vanns Ferry Animal Hospital

I can’t say enough wonderful things about Vann’s Ferry Animal Hospital. Having worked at a veterinary clinic in Massachusetts in the past, I know how much the quality of the people and the level of care matter, and I have been so impressed with everyone here. Dr. J is absolutely wonderful. He takes his time with you, genuinely cares about your pets, and makes sure to thoroughly explain everything so you never feel rushed or left with questions. The entire staff is attentive, compassionate, friendly, and truly seems to care about both the animals and the people who love them. It’s such a great feeling to know our pets are in caring, capable hands. I’m so glad we found Vann’s Ferry Animal Hospital and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinary team they can trust.

I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Jandrlich and his staff at Vann’s Ferry Animal Hospital. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and truly cares about the animals in his care. If you’re in Forsyth Co, this is your office. Our Golden, Chloe, had a bowel obstruction from ingesting a hard piece of plastic. This was a fairly urgent situation that could have become fatal very quickly. We called Vann’s Ferry on a Tuesday morning with no appointment. He worked a full day that day, and operated on Chloe AFTER business hours - it was a 2+ hr surgery that didn’t start until after 5pm - on a week day. He has a family at home, and could have very reasonably postponed the surgery until later that week during regular business hours. Instead he did what was best for Chloe. He called us around 8pm that evening afterwards, and was very thorough in his explanation of how the surgery went, answered all of our questions, etc. The blockage was removed successfully and Chloe is on the mend, but her intestines showed clear signs that a perforation and likely death would have been in the near future if not for prompt intervention. His fees for this surgery, as a side note, were about 50% what another office had quoted us for the same procedure. This hasn’t been the first time Chloe needed a surgical procedure, either- Dr. Jandrlich removed a benign nodule removed from her eyelid last year. This is very thin, delicate tissue, and permanent scarring and eyelid dysfunction is common after surgeries involving this area. Chloe’s eyelid looks fantastic - you can’t even tell she had a mass removed from it. He doesn’t nickle and dime - his fees are more than fair - and he doesn’t do unnecessary tests or procedures to run up the bill. He does what’s best for your pet, and does it well. If you’re looking for a vet in the Cumming/Forsyth Co/Alpharetta/Milton area, please check out this office. We’re glad we did.

Dr J and his staff are by far the best. Affordable pricing compared to other vets and Dr J is the nicest guy and all our dogs love him and the staff.

Seriously, the best vet my husband and I have ever been too. Dr J is wonderful. I cannot say enough good things about him. He has this calm demeanor and is so thorough. I’m an anxious mom to our sweet fur baby and Dr J is so good at answering all my questions to make sure I leave with answers and confidence. The front desk is welcoming and warm as well. Great customer service. Everyone has great empathy for us fur baby parents. The prices aren’t bad at all either! They actually care about your fur baby and not just wanting the money. They are also great at getting you same day or a day that week’ HIGHLY recommend
